Rotate the black handle with a disc next to the right gripper to separate it from the travel switch, ensuring that the machine is powered on.
Tighten the circular small knob on the side of the right gripper so that it does not rotate when making a twisted sample. Then, based on the length of the sample between the left and right clamps, lock the fixture seat on the right guide rail with the guide rail.
2.1 Sample length: The original gauge length dimensions can refer to GB/T4909.4-2009,4.3 and GB/T3428-2002, 10.3, where b is 100d.
2.2 Counterweight load: Choose a suitable counterweight (load force can refer to GB/T4909.4-2009, 5.2 and GB/T3428-2002, 10.3, b should not exceed 2% of the tensile strength of the specimen).
2.3 Twisting times and speed: The twisting speed of the winding twisting test machine generally does not exceed 60r/min (refer to GB/T4909.4-2009, 5.4 and GB/T3428-2002, 10.3, b), and the twisting times should not be less than the specified values in Table 3, Table 4, and Table 5 of GB/T3428-2002. During the winding and twisting test machine, bend both ends of the sample at a 90 degree angle and clamp it onto a three jaw clamp. Then press the "forward" button, the machine rotates counterclockwise, and the counter starts counting. When the sample is twisted, the right gripper moves to the right under the pulling of the counterweight, and the right gripper contacts the travel switch, and the counter stops counting.
2.4 Test completed: Open the left and right clamps to remove the wire and disconnect the power supply.
